The Little is indeed a nice little class II run. It is dam controlled without regularly scheduled releases. You can look at the gauge and predict when they may be releasing to generate power. There is a weir (dam) around halfway down right above the gorge that must be portaged. Put in as soon as you can below that drop or carry the whole gorge. There are often downed trees creating strainers so be super careful of anything you can't see.
