The trees are leafing out, the weather is warming up, and the rivers are dropping. This may the last chance for some time to run the Saranac (Silver Lake Road to Redford) at a nice juicy level. As of 7:30 pm the Plattsburgh gauge is reporting 6.38 feet, down from ~6.6 feet early this morning. The whitewater is excellent, and the setting on the edge of the Adirondacks is beautiful.
