subject I'm thinking about Saxtons...

Thanks for the suggestion. I've driven along Saxtons River (on Route 121) quite a few times, and have wondered what kind of a run it is with decent flow.

In addition, it's relatively easy and fast to get there (I-91 Exit 6 to Rockingham Hill Road or Route 35).

(That said, storms are blossoming in northeastern New York, with a flash flood alert for northern Clinton County into northwestern Vermont, so I wonder what we might have in store closer to home.)
