subject The big log has been cut...

The log I described in my previous message has been cut into 4 pieces. I grossly understated its length. It was actually 35-40 feet long, and a bit more than 12 inches in diameter. (I used an 18" Corona pruning saw to cut it.)

I hope the New Haven will be seeing a blow-out high water event in the next few weeks. We may need a substantial change in this summer's weather pattern for that to happen...
