John Wolfe and myself were able to get on the West branch of the Little River 1/3/2000. the water level depended on what part of the river you were on. The upper was running but was running on top of the ice (not good). The moscow end was way up because of an ice jam (definatly not good), so we ended up playing the rapids in Stowe village down stream of the falls (not bad for january). Good flows and level but a short run. Looking foward to a run in february. HAPPY PADDLING. Hope to see everyone at the pool sessions.

I was the last one out of Twin Oaks at last night's roll session, so I made a quick sweep by the pool for items that might have been left behind.
I found a black nose clip with a black nylon cord on the window sill. I have it in my car and plan to be at the Jan 29 session.

Press Release 1-26-00:
ePaddler.com ANNOUNCES PLAN FOR LARGEST PADDLING NETWORK.
ePaddler.com Underscores Desire to Become PaddleSport's Vertical Portal
Bethel, ME - 1-26-00 - ePaddler.com (http://www.epaddler.com), the Internet startup featuring canoe, kayak, and sea kayak content, has announced plans to organize the largest and most powerful online paddling network to date as part of a premier Vertical Portal dedicated exclusively to the paddlesport industry. ePaddler.com plans to index content contributions from the sport's premier athletes, media sources, paddling clubs, manufacturers, conservation groups, festival coordinators, event directors, industry experts, local paddlers, and various paddling organizations and associations as a free global service for canoe and kayak enthusiasts. Damon Peters, ePaddler.com Director, says of the proposed network, "We are proud to be able to offer this service to the paddling community. As paddlers, we understand the need for accessible paddling information, but to this point the Internet has failed to be an efficient tool. We feel that creating this network is a necessary step in making the Internet truly valuable for paddlers."
ePaddler.com, created to serve the millions of worldwide Internet users seeking online paddling resources, considers the network to be a significant advancement toward becoming canoeing and kayaking's complete virtual community and Vertical Portal. According to Peters, ePaddler.com will accept queries from all interested paddlers around the world, as well as provide management, compilation, support, publication and compensation for contributions made by chosen "local editors" and "contributing experts". "Our goal for ePaddler.com this year is to provide an umbrella for 1,000 worldwide contributors," says Peters.
About ePaddler.com
Launched in June of 1999, ePaddler.com provides Internet services for the paddlesport industry, including free online classifieds, free online directory listings, a free online newsletter service, and online referral services. The announcement helps kick off a new service plan for ePaddler.com, including event and contest promotions, gear giveaways, message board services, online news services, and the launch of the ePaddler.com Online Mall to be highlighted by a $1,000 gear giveaway. ePaddler.com has been a member of the Professional Paddlesport Association since 1999. ePaddler.com is owned and produced by Adventure Media, of Bethel, Maine. Adventure Media also owns and produces PaddleMaine.com (http://www.paddlemaine.com).
