See the Favorite Website link, if you're curious about Norwegian whitewater, which has been getting a lot of attention in recent years. (It's mostly out of my league.) This is a nice guide.

I've just arrived in the US,and am looking for people to kayak with on grade 4-5 rivers in Vermont and New England before the ski season kicks in.

I don't mind travelling around a fair bit to get to what ever water is running.
Any suggestions, or anyone planning any trips?
What releases are worth the drive?

Is the Moose running this weekend?

I'm moving out of state and don't have room for all of my boats (those NYC apts are so small!) so a sad event needs to happen...parting with some hardware!
For sale:
Complete Whitewater Kayak setup!
All that is needed is a paddler!

This is a great boat to learn with, very forgiving, great for river running and rodeo tricks! Can handle kayakers from 150 all the way up to 230lbs, so it can service a wide range and well!

Here's what's included:

***Dagger Redline (purple bow, fade to aqua stern) with new hip and thigh pads, includes an amazingly comfortable Immersion Research BackBand (easily adjusted on the water due to the snowboard binding like attachments, was $90 new) (Boat alone retailed for $900)
***Harmony LC-1 Skirt with Medium tube (retailed for over $100)
***Perception River Passage paddle (has a red carbon fiber shaft with white blades) (retailed for over $200)
***Helmet: Romer (red) no major impacts! (retailed over $70) ;-)

Combined this setup was over $1300...
Asking $600 or best resonable offer for everything listed here

-Boat is located in Waterbury-if you want to check it out send me an email for directions and an appointment...Thanks!

Here's a website with all the stats on the Redline:

Here's a guide to the bridges from the Androscoggin to the Susquehanna.
Paddle A bridge A day for A year. Even if only hypothetically.
Each cb is pictured, artfully and in full color with high digital definition, plus maps and pertinent data on 4x6 cards.
I'm looking for 4 friends who want a copy of this collection.

There is a wonderful wilderness preserve and personal retreat center that offers a cozy and affordable bed and breakfast near the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers near Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. That's 1.5 hours west of Washington, DC. This is a quiet zone, Quaker-affiliated, property. Paddlers who tread very lightly on the earth are welcome to inquire about this very special preserve. Primitive camping for very small groups is also available. See www.idealist.org/en/orgs/92281
