...thanks to the efforts of Rubin Bennett and Tanner Kadleck, with some follow-up by others several days later after it was downstream of Washing Machine. Last Sunday it was below the next rapid after Washing Machine, well over to river-right, and was very visible when we passed it.
The Mad is over 2,000 cfs and rising steeply this morning, so it will probably move farther downstream. We should be alert over the coming days in case it hangs up in a bad place.
