Two important upgrades to the VPC website were made in the past week. For one thing, http has been replaced by https, encrypting requests and responses to make it harder for shady characters to see what our members and visitors are doing here on the VPC website. The second change involves PHP, upgrading to the latest version of the scripting language on which the VPC site is built.

Please speak up if you notice any issues with the website in the wake of these two changes. Thanks!
